The music department is having a formal masquerade ball fundraiser next week, so Bri and I are going to dress up super-fancy and go! She's gonna wear her 1860s ballgown she had made for her prom. The white regency is done! *fanfare* It fits and looks adorable, and I love it! Such an improvement on the old model. It just needs a good iron and it'll be ready to wear. I would like to get some nice outdoor shots in it once the weather warms up again ( Read more... )

I was feeling stressed this week, so I dusted off my old trusty P&P for some relaxation. Which, as all costume dramas do, inspired me to do some more Regency work.

I figured out how to use the self-timer on my camera/discovered that the height of my shelf is just about perfect for pictures, so here are some pics of the completed white 1790s and the red open robe.

I've been working like a beaver to finish my white regency dress that goes with my red open robe. Good news is it's almost finished! I only need to add the sleeves and I'm done!

Since it seems to be a bit of a trend, and I like making lists, here are my costume resolutions for 2008.

1. Make white 1790s gown to go under red open robe.

2. Drop-front regency dress from green spotted sheet.
